SHEPHERD SPLITS WITH MOUNT

EMMITTSBURG, MD--The Shepherd University men's team got the win while the women's team took the loss in a dual match against Mount St. Mary's on Monday.

The Shepherd men extended their match winning streak to 19 (beginning last season) with a 6-1 victory over the Mount. Senior Ram Tim Halter also reached a personal milestone winning his 100th match for Shepherd. The Rams begin their 2004-05 campaign with a 1-0 record.

The Shepherd women were not as fortunate. Despite sophomore Jessi Clarke's sixth straight singles win this season, the Rams fell 5-2 to the Mount. Shepherd goes to 4-2 on the season.
