SHEPHERD SPLITS CONFERENCE TENNIS ACTION

WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. -- The Shepherd women's tennis team split a pair of conference matches over the weekend and may be without their top player for the rest of the season.

Ram senior Missy Azeltine suffered a leg injury during her number one doubles match against West Liberty and was unable to continue. Her status should be known on Monday.

Meanwhile, sophomore standout Jessi Clarke continues her amazing win streak, now at 17 straight matches.

Shepherd goes to 7-3 overall and 5-1 in the West Virginia Conference. Fairmont: 2-4, 2-3; West Liberty 5-2, 4-0.
