SHEPHERD ROUTS TECH SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va -- Eight different players scored goals as Shepherd College dominated play in an 11-0 win over WVU-Tech in women's soccer action at Ram Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. Erin Wilkinson (Fairfax Station, VA/W.T. Woodson HS), Lauren Cepko (Ellicott City, MD/Howard HS), and Shannon Leighty (Carneys Point, NJ/ Penns Grove HS) each tallied a pair of goals for the Rams. Ashley Gossert (Keedysville, MD/Hagerstown CC), Erin Kinnear (Bel Air, MD/Fallston HS), Lauren Molesky (Mt. Airy, MD/Linganore HS), Amy Ridgely (Westminster, MD/ Westminster HS), and Theresa Ryan (Baltimore, MD/Loch Raven HS) also got on the scoreboard for the Rams. Sarah Bryan (Sterling, VA/Park View HS) led the Rams with four assists, Cepko had two, while Leighty and Molesky added one each. Junior goalkeeper Carrie Crogan (Adamstown, MD/Urbana HS) recorded a save in a shutout effort for the Rams, while Amber Keefer stopped 16 shots for WVU-Tech. Shepherd improves to 6-8-0, 2-4-0 in WVIAC action. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Bloomfield for a noon contest.
