SHEPHERD WOMEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO WHEELING JESUIT WHEELING, W.Va. -- Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 contest to Wheeling Jesuit in WVIAC women's soccer action at Wheeling Jesuit on Tuesday. Elizabeth Lipovsky, CJ Allen, and Katie Groff each scored first half goals for the Cardinals. Wheeling Jesuit held a 26-5 shot advantage and had a 4-0 edge in corner kicks. Junior goalkeeper Amy Bell (New Market, MD/Linganore) had nine saves for the Rams, while Jessica Park posted foru saves for the Cardinals. Shepherd falls to 6-9, 0-3 in WVIAC action, while Wheeling Jesuit improves to 8-4, 3-1. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Davis and Elkins for a 2:00 p.m. contest. |
