SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va -- Megan O'Rourke scored three goals to lead Wheeling Jesuit University to a 5-1 win over Shepherd College in women's soccer action at Ram Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

O'Rourke scored at the 11:10 mark to give Wheeling Jesuit a 1-0 lead.

Shepherd tied the game at 1-1 at the 26:59 mark when junior forward Erin Wilkinson (Fairfax Station, VA/ W. T. Woodson HS) scored on an assist from freshman midfielder Kyla Heimburger (Lovettsville, VA/ Loudoun Valley HS).

O'Rourke added two second half goals and Lauren Deschamps and Kara Blacker each added single goals for the Lady Cardinals to complete the scoring.

Senior goalkeeper Amy Ridgely (Westminster, MD/ Westminster HS) recorded 10 saves for the Rams, while Marisa Cotungo had four saves for Wheeling Jesuit.

Shepherd falls to 5-8-0, 1-4-0 in WVIAC action, while Wheeling Jesuit improves to 8-7-1, 4-2-0. The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host WVU-Tech for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
