WHEELING, W.Va. -- Joanna da Silva scored two goals to lead Wheeling Jesuit to a 6-1 win over Shepherd College in women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at Wheeling Jesuit.
Kim Furman, Meghan O'Rourke, Renea Moody, and Lauren Deschamps also tallied goals for Wheeling Jesuit.
Shepherd only goal came at the 41:00 mark when freshman Alicia Knuppel (Damascus/Gaithersburg, MD) scored on an assist from junior Theresa Ryan (Loch Raven/Baltimore, MD).
Amy Ridgely (Westminster/Westminster, MD) recorded 16 saves in goal for the Rams, while Tina Dengler had one save for Wheeling Jesuit.
Shepherd falls to to 2-9 overall, 1-3 in WVIAC play, while Wheeling Jesuit improves to 10-1, 2-0.
