SHEPHERD WOMEN'S SOCCER EDGED BY SETON HILL

GREENSBURG, Pa. -- Seton Hill edged Shepherd University, 2-1, in women's soccer action at Seton Hill on Saturday.

Maggie Quinlan and Elaine Zaveckas scored first half goals to lead Seton Hill.

Shepherd's goal came in the 71st minute when sophomore Jenn Corkran (Baltimore, MD/Sparrows Point) scored with an assist from sophomore Stephanie Schroeder (Stephens City, VA/Sherando/Lord Fairfax).

Junior netminder Amy Bell ( New Market, MD/Linganore) had two saves for the Rams.

Shepherd falls to 6-8-0, while Seton Hill improves to 8-4-1. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
