SHEPHERD FALLS TO SETON HILL

GREENSBURG, Pa. -- Nicole Perger scored three goals and assisted on another to lead Seton Hill University to a 6-1 win over Shepherd University in women's soccer action at Seton Hill on Wednesday.

The Griffins also got goals from Alisha Moulton, Christy Pergar, and Amanda Herold.

Sophomore defender/midfielder Amanda Smith (Pittsburgh, PA/South Park HS) scored the lone Shepherd goal on a penalty kick late in the game.

Sophomore goalkeeper Amy Bell (New Market, MD/Linganore HS) recorded nine saves for the Rams. Jamie Hickton had eight saves for the Griffins.

Shepherd drops to 1-5-1 on the year, while Seton Hill improves to 9-0. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Concord for a 4:00 p.m. WVIAC contest.
