SHEPHERD FALLS TO SAGINAW VALLEY IN SEASON OPENER UNIVERSITY CENTER, MI. -- The Shepherd University women's soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to Saginaw Valley in the season opener for the Rams at Saginaw Valley on Sunday afternoon. Shepherd's lone goal came in the final minutes of the first half when junior midfielder Tara Roberts (Knoxville, MD) scored on a feed from freshman midfielder Kellie Wagner (Winchester, VA/Sherando HS) on a corner kick.
