SHEPHERD FALLS TO NORTHWOOD

MIDLAND, MI. -- Amy Snyder scored three goals to lead Northwood University to a 4-0 win over Shepherd University in women's soccer action at Northwood on Monday afternoon.

Kristi Crampton scored the game's first goal on an unassisted tally at the 11:57 mark. Snyder scored her first goal at the 29:48 mark to give the Timberwolves a 2-0 halftime advantage.

Snyder added a pair of second half goals to seal the win for Northwood.

Sophomore goalkeeper Amy Bell (New Market, MD/Linganore HS) recorded five saves in goal for the Rams. Caroline Bonynge had two saves in a shutout effort for Northwood.

Shepherd falls to 0-2 on the year, while Northwood improves to 4-1. The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Wilmington (DE) for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
