SHEPHERD WOMEN'S SOCCER BLANKS COLUMBIA UNION

TAKOMA PARK, Md. -- Sophomore forward Jenn Corkran (Baltimore, Md/Sparrows Point) scored a pair of goals and added an assist to lead Shepherd University to a 7-0 win over Columbia Union in women's soccer action at Columbia Union on Tuesday.

Freshman forward Whitney Reed (Woodbridge, VA/C.D. Hylton) tallied a goal and two assists, while sophomore forward/midfielder Stephanie Schroeder (Stephens City, VA/Sherando/Lord Fairfax CC) added a goal and an assist.

Junior Amanda Smith (Pittsburgh, PA/South Park), sophomore Brandie DeWitt (Hagerstown, MD/South Hagerstown), and junior Katie Dehmer (Bel Air, MD/Fallston) also recorded goals for the Rams.

Junior defender/midfielder Lauren Kinnear (Bel Air, MD/Fallston) and sophomore midfielder Kellie Wagner (Winchester, VA/Sherando) also added assists.

Junior goalkeeper Amy Bell (New Market, MD/Linganore) recorded one save for the Rams.

Shepherd falls to 5-4-0, while Columbia Union drops to 1-5. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to West Virginia Wesleyan for a 3:00 p.m. contest.
