SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Gail Siemer (Chesapeake/Severna Park, MD) scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead Shepherd College to an 82-39 win over Ohio Valley in WVIAC women's basketball action on Thursday night at the Butcher Athletic Center.
Siemer hit on 8-of-11 field goals and was 3-of-4 from the charity stripe. Carrie Kunkel (Gettysburg/Gettysburg, PA) added 18 points on a 7-of14 shooting effort. She sank 3-of-7 shots from three-point range.
Latissha Isby scored 11 points and had seven rebounds for the Lady Scots. Elizabeth Lallathin added 10 boards to tie Siemer for game-high rebounding honors.
Shepherd improves to 14-5, 10-2 in conference action, while Ohio Valley falls to 2-16, 0-9. The Rams will host Glenville on Saturday. Tipoff is slated for 2:00 p.m.
