SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Gail Siemer (Chesapeake/Severna Park, MD) scored a career-high 22 points to lead the Rams to an 81-53 win over Bluefield State in WVIAC women's basketball action on Thursday night at the Butcher Athletic Center.
Ashana Cowans (Robinson/Fairfax, VA) added 12 points, while Makia Staves (Bishop McNamara/Ft. Washington, MD) added a double-double with 11 points and game-high 13 rebounds.
Cassie Miller led Bluefield State with 21 points.
The Rams improve to 11-5, 7-2 in conference action, while Bluefield State falls to 5-12, 2-6. Shepherd returns to action on Saturday to when they host Concord for a 2:00 p.m. contest.
