SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College defeated West Virginia Wesleyan, 31-29, 30-26, 27-30, 30-27, in volleyball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Friday night.
Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) led the Rams with17 kills and 22 digs, while Amber Balmer (Ephrata/Ephrata, PA) added 13 kills and 20 digs. Setter Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Hagerstown, MD) recorded 47 assists.
Shepherd improves to 7-1 on the year, 1-0 in WVIAC action.
The Rams will travel to Fairmont State next Tuesday for a 7:00 p.m. match.
