SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College swept West Virginia State, 3-0, in WVIAC volleyball action on Saturday night at the Butcher Athletic Center. The Rams earned a 30-21, 30-19, 30-26 victory.
Leading the Ram attack was Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) with 20 kills and 18 digs. Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) added 15 kills and 10 digs, while Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) registered 43 assists, seven digs, and four aces.
Shepherd improves to 27-9 overall, 10-3 in WVIAC action.
