  SHEPHERD VOLLEYBALL PAIR HONORED SUMMERSVILLE, W.Va. -- Junior setter Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) and freshman outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) of the Shepherd College volleyball team were recently honored by the West Virginia Conference. Morgan and Hill gained Honorable Mention All-WVIAC honors, while Hill was also selected to the All-Freshman Team and named WVIAC Freshman of the Year.
Morgan led the Rams and was third in the league in assists with an 11.44 average. She also topped the team in aces with 48 in 100 games for an 0.48 per game average. Morgan also added 292 digs, 41 kills, and 13 blocks. Hill led the league with 4.57 digs per game. She also was third in the WVIAC with a team-high 3.70 kills per game. Hill also added 56 assists, 31 blocks, and 28 aces. She is the first Shepherd player to receive the Freshman of the Year award.
