 KORMELUK GAINS 200TH WIN WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. -- Shepherd College swept West Liberty with a 30-24, 30-16, 30-25 victory in WVIAC volleyball action at West Liberty on Friday. The triumph was the 200th for Shepherd head coach Lu Kormeluk. The Rams were led by Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) with team-highs of 13 kills and 13 digs. Beth Schaible (Winchester, VA/ James Wood HS) added 12 kills and nine digs, while Lindsey Smith (Romney, WV/ Hampshire HS) and Gen Wilson (Hyattsville, MD/Elizabeth Seton HS) contributed 12 digs apiece. Shepherd improves to 16-8, 12-3 in conference action. |
