SHEPHERD FALLS TO WHEELING JESUIT SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College dropped a 21-30, 21-30, 14-30 decision to Wheeling Jesuit in WVIAC volleyball action at Shepherd on Tuesday. The Rams were led by Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) with team-highs of 10 kills and 12 digs. Lindsey Smith (Romney, WV/Hampshire HS) also recorded 12 digs, while Beth Schaible (Winchester, VA/James Wood HS) had four kills and nine digs. Megan Bowman (Hagerstown, MD/Williamsport HS) added seven kills and seven digs. Shepherd falls to 9-8 overall, 6-3 in conference play. The Rams return to action on Thursday when they host WVU-Tech for a 7:00 p.m. contest. |
