SHEPHERD VOLLEYBALL DOWNS UPJ FOR SECOND STRAIGHT WIN SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University downed Pitt Johnstown, 3-0, in volleyball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Friday night. The Rams earned a 30-28, 30-24, 30-28 victory. Freshman Ashlee Allen (Severna Park, MD/Severna Park) had eight kills, six digs, and five aces to pace the Rams. Sophomore Kori Ford (Fredericksburg, VA/Chancellor) had a team-high 12 kills, while senior Lauren Durbin (Fairplay, MD/Grace Academy) added seven kills. Senior Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) added a team-high 15 digs. Shepherd improves to 6-14, while Pitt Johnstown drops to 10-8. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Salem International for a 1:00 p.m. match. |
