SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. -- Shepherd College defeated UDC, 30-26, 30-24, 30-25, in volleyball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Tuesday night.
The Rams were led by Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) with 14 kills, 21 digs, and six blocks. Danielle Munson (Williamsport/Williamsport, MD) recorded 14 kills, 19 digs, four blocks, and three aces, while Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) contributed 11 kills and 14 digs. Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) chipped in with 48 assists.
Shepherd improves its record to 26-8.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Charleston for a 7:00 p.m. match.
