SHEPHERD WINS SIXTH STRAIGHT MATCH WASHINGTON, DC --Shepherd College swept UDC (3-0) in volleyball action at UDC on Tuesday night. The Rams earned a 30-26, 30-25, 30-22 victory over the Lady Firebirds. The Rams were led by Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) with 17 kills and 12 digs. Beth Schaible (Winchester, VA/James Wood HS) added nine kills and 15 digs. Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) recorded 37 assists,16 digs, and four aces. Lindsey Smith (Romney, WV/Hampshire HS) added 14 digs and Gen Wilson (Hyattsville, MD/Elizabeth Seton HS) had 10. Shepherd improves to 9-5 overall. |
