CHARLESTON, W.Va. --Shepherd College went 1-3 in volleyball action at the University of Charleston Tournament this weekend. The Rams dropped 3-0 decisions to Lees-McRae, Indiana (Pa.), and California (Pa.). Shepherd took a 3-0 triumph over Belmont Abbey.
Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) had 13 kills and nine digs in the win over Belmont Abbey. Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) added four kills and 12 digs. Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) contributed 34 assists and six digs.
Shepherd falls to 3-5 overall.
The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host West Liberty for a 7:00 p.m. match.
