CHARLESTON HANDS SHEPHERD 3-1 LOSS SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College dropped a 30-19, 23-30, 27-30, 20-30 decision to University of Charleston in WVIAC volleyball action at Shepherd on Saturday. Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) had 19 kills and 22 digs to lead the Rams. Holly Everhart (Purcellville, VA/Loudoun Valley HS) had 10 kills, six digs, and four blocks. Megan Bowman (Hagerstown, MD/Williamsport HS) had 19 digs, while Lauren Durbin (Fairplay, MD/Grace Academy) contributed 12 kills and nine blocks. Setter Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) chipped in with 51 assists, 14 digs, and four aces. Shepherd falls to 16-12, 12-6 in conference action. The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Alderson-Broaddus for a 7:00 p.m. contest. |
