SHEPHERD VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO SALEM INTERNATIONAL

SALEM, W.Va. -- The Shepherd University volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Salem International in WVIAC volleyball action on Wednesday night. The Tigers earned a 19-30, 30-26, 31-29, 30-23 win over the Rams.

Freshman outside hitter Brittany Clem (Edinburg, VA/Stonewall Jackson HS) came off the bench to record seven kills and only one error in nine attempts. Junior outside hitter Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) recorded her sixth double-double of the year with 11 kills and 20 digs. Junior defensive specialist Lindsey Smith (Romney, WV/Hampshire HS) added 17 digs, while sophomore setter Kristy Cramer (Fayetteville, PA/Chambersburg Area Senior HS) contributed 40 assists. Junior middle hitter Lauren Durbin (Fairplay, MD/Grace Academy) had nine kills and four blocks.
