SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College defeated Salem International, 30-21, 30-17, 30-20, in WVIAC volleyball action on Tuesday night at the Butcher Athletic Center.
The Rams were led by Amber Balmer (Ephrata/Ephrata, PA) and Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD). Balmer had 11 kills and 10 digs, while Whims recorded 10 kills and 10 digs. Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) added 36 assists.
Shepherd improves to 8-5 overall, 1-0 in conference play.
The Rams will return to action on Thursday when they host Fairmont State for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
