SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College defeated Shippensburg 30-22, 28-30, 32-30, 30-21 in volleyball action on Wednesday night at the Butcher Athletic Center.
Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) led the Rams with 16 kills and Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) added 14. Danielle Munson (Williamsport/Williamsport, MD) topped the team in digs with 19, while Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) registered 46 assists.
Shepherd improves to 5-3, while Shippensburg falls to 1-2.
The Rams will return to action on Friday when they travel to the University of Charleston Tournament.
