SHEPHERD DOWNS OHIO VALLEY

VIENNA, W.Va. -- Shepherd University handed host Ohio Valley University a 3-1 loss in WVIAC volleyball action on Saturday. The Rams earned a 30-28, 30-24, 25-30, 30-18 victory.

Freshman middle blocker/outside hitter Kori Ford (Fredericksburg, VA/ Chancellor HS) led the Rams with a team-high 18 kills. Junior outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) and junior defensive specialist/outside hitter Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) each recorded a team-high 15 digs. Darnley also added 13 kills. Sophomore setter Kristy Cramer (Fayetteville, PA/Chambersburg Area Senior) had 44 assists and six kills.

Shepherd improves to 10-16, 7-6 in WVIAC play. The Rams return to action next Wednesday when they host Salem International for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
