SHEPHERD WINS FIFTH STRAIGHT SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College swept Ohio Valley College with a 30-19, 30-17, 30-15 win in WVIAC volleyball action at Shepherd on Sunday afternoon. The victory was the fifth straight for the Rams. Aubrey Pfau (Myersville, MD/Middletown HS) had nine kills and Megan Bowman (Hagerstown, MD/Williamsport HS) had eight to lead the Rams. Gen Wilson (Hyattsville, MD/ Elizabeth Seton HS) added 10 digs and four services aces, while Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) also recorded 10 digs. Setter Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) registered 34 assists. Shepherd improves to 14-8, 11-3 in WVIAC play. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host UDC for a 7:00 p.m. contest. |
