SHEPHERD SWEEPS OHIO VALLEY VIENNA, W.Va. --Shepherd College handed Ohio Valley College a 3-0 loss in WVIAC volleyball action at Ohio Valley on Saturday night. The Rams took a 30-23, 30-16, 30-19 victory. The Rams were led by Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) with 12 kills and 15 digs. Holly Everhart (Purcellville, VA/Loudoun Valley HS) added 12 kills and Lauren Durbin (Fairplay, MD/Grace Academy) had 10. Beth Schaible (Winchester, VA/James Wood HS) added nine kills and 11 digs. Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) recorded 43 assists and seven digs. Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) had seven kills and a team-high 17 digs, while Gen Wilson (Hyattsville, MD/Elizabeth Seton HS) added 13 digs. Shepherd improves to 7-5 overall, 5-0 in conference action. |
