SHEPHERD DOWNS BLAZERS IN VOLLEYBALL ACTION SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University handed Hood College a 3-0 (30-9, 30-21, 30-15) loss in volleyball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Monday night. Sophomore outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) led the Rams with nine kills and six digs. Senior middle hitter Holly Everhart (Purcellville, VA/Loudoun Valley HS) added seven kills, while sophomore middle hitter Lauren Durbin (Fairplay, MD/Grace Academy) registered six kills and three blocks. Senior setter Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) contributed 35 assists and two aces. Shepherd improves to 19-14 on the year. The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host UDC for Senior Night at 7:00 p.m. |
