 SHEPHERD DOWNS GLENVILLE SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College downed Glenville State with a 30-15, 21-30, 30-16, 30-22 win in WVIAC volleyball action at Shepherd on Wednesday night. Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) recorded 18 kills and 16 digs to lead the Rams. Holly Everhart (Purcellville, VA/Loudoun Valley HS) added 11 kills, six blocks, four aces, and five digs, while Beth Schaible (Winchester, VA/James Wood HS) had nine kills and 11 digs. Megan Bowman (Hagerstown, MD/Williamsport HS) had nine kills and 13 digs, while Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) recorded 51 assists and tied Hill for the team-high in digs with 16. Shepherd improves to 11-8, 8-3 in WVIAC play. The Rams return to action next Wednesday when they host Salem International for a 7:00 p.m. contest.  |
