SHEPHERD DEFEATS GLENVILLE FOR THIRD STRAIGHT WIN

GLENVILLE, W.Va. -- Shepherd University swept Glenville State College, 30-25, 30-18, 30-18, in WVIAC volleyball action at Glenville State on Saturday. The win was the third straight for the Rams.

Freshman Kori Ford (Fredericksburg, VA/ Chancellor HS) recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 11 assists. Ford recorded an impressive .917 attack percentage with the 11 kills and no errors in 12 attempts. Sophomore Kristy Cramer (Fayetteville, PA/Chambersburg Area HS) had three aces and 17 assists for the match. Junior middle hitter Lauren Durbin (Fairplay, MD/Grace Academy) added eight kills and six blocks, while junior outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) posted a team-high 17 digs and four aces.

Shepherd improves to 9-14 overall, 6-4 in WVIAC action. The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to University of Charleston for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
