SHEPHERD DOWNS GLENVILLE

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University defeated Glenville State College, 3-1, (30-12, 30-26, 27-30, 30-17) in WVIAC volleyball action on Saturday at the Butcher Athletic Center.

Sophomore outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) recorded 10 kills and 12 digs to lead the Rams. Senior outside hitter Megan Bowman (Hagerstown, MD/Williamsport HS) had team-high 13 kills and six digs, while sophomore defensive specialist Lindsay Smith (Romney, WV/Hampshire HS) added a team-high 16 digs.

Sophomore outside hitter Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) and freshman outside hitter Kristy Cramer (Fayetteville, PA/Chambersburg Area HS) chipped in with nine digs each. Senior setter Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/ North Hagerstown HS) contributed 44 assists and 10 digs.

Shepherd improves to 13-12 overall, 10-2 in WVIAC action. The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host West Liberty for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
