SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College earned a 30-13, 30-27, 30-19 sweep over Glenville State in WVIAC volleyball action in the regular season finale at the Butcher Athletic Center on Monday night.
Amber Balmer (Ephrata/Ephrata, PA) led the Rams with 13 kills and 15 digs. Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) added 10 kills and 13 digs, while setter Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) recorded 34 assists and eight digs.
Shepherd improves its record to 18-9 overall, 7-5 in WVIAC action. Shepherd moved into sixth place in the conference with the win. The Rams will await word on the schedule for the upcoming WVIAC Tournament.
