SHEPHERD SWEEPS FAIRMONT SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University downed Fairmont State University, 3-0 (30-16, 30-22, 30-18) in WVIAC volleyball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Saturday morning. Sophomore outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) had eight kills and 15 digs to pace the Rams. Senior middle hitter Holly Everhart (Purcellville, VA/Loudoun Valley HS) added nine kills and sophomore outside hitter Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) added 14 digs. Senior setter Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) registered 36 assists, six digs, and five aces. Shepherd improves to 15-13 on the year, 12-3 in conference play. |
