SHEPHERD DOWNS FAIRMONT FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- - Shepherd University downed Fairmont State University, 3-0 (30-22, 30-23, 30-24), in WVIAC volleyball action on Thursday night. Sophomore outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) led the Rams with 15 kills, nine digs, and three aces. Sophomore outside hitter Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) added 11 digs, while senior setter Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) contributed 38 assists, six digs, and three aces. Shepherd improves to 8-10 on the year, 7-1 in conference play, while Fairmont drops to 2-10, 2-3. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to WVU Tech to face WVU Tech and West Virginia State. |
