Shepherd dropped a five-game match to Frostburg State University.
SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College dropped a five game match to Frostburg State University in volleyball action on Tuesday night at the Butcher Athletic Center. The Bobcats rallied for a 27-30, 26-30, 30-24, 31-29, 17-15 win over the Rams.
Leading the Ram attack was Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) with 16 kills and 25 digs. Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) added 18 kills and 14 digs, while Amber Balmer (Ephrata/Ephrata, PA) had 15 kills and 21 digs. Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) chipped in with 56 assists and 18 digs.
Shepherd falls to 4-3, while Frostburg improves to 5-2.
The Rams (4-2) will return to action on Wednesday when they host Shippensburg at 7:00 p.m.
