MOUNT OLIVE, NC -- The Shepherd College volleyball team swept Fayetteville State 30-17, 30-20, 30-18, in volleyball action at the Mount Olive Tournament.
Junior outside hitter Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) had 13 kills and seven digs to lead the Rams. Junior outside hitter Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) added nine kills and 13 digs, while junior middle blocker Valerie Chaney (Frankfort/Fort Ashby, WV) had nine kills and four blocks. Freshman middle blocker Shannon Shenberger (Warwick/Lititz, PA) added eight kills and four blocks.
