SHEPHERD WINS FOURTH STRAIGHT MATCH

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV -- Shepherd University won its fourth straight match with a 3-0 (30-11, 30-17, 30-18) win over Davis & Elkins in WVIAC volleyball action on Tuesday night at the Butcher Athletic Center.

Sophomore outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) led the Rams with team-highs of 16 kills and 12 digs. Junior middle hitter Aubrey Pfau (Myersville, MD/Middletown HS) added 10 kills and four blocks and junior outside hitter Beth Schaible (Winchester, VA/James Wood HS) recorded six kills and 10 digs. Senior setter Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) contributed 40 assists, nine digs, and three aces.

Shepherd improves to 7-9 on the year, 4-0 in conference play, while the Senators drop to 1-11, 0-4. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to play Wheeling Jesuit and West Liberty in a pair of conference matches.
