SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd College defeated Davis & Elkins, 30-13, 30-8, 30-16, in WVIAC volleyball action on Tuesday night at the Butcher Athletic Center. The win was the tenth consecutive victory for the Rams.
Leading the Ram attack was Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) with 16 kills, 10 digs, and eight blocks, while Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) recorded nine kills and nine digs. Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) added 39 assists, five digs, and three aces.
Shepherd improves to 17-5 overall, 5-0 in conference action.
The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Bowie State for a 6:30 p.m. contest.
