MOUNT OLIVE, NC -- The Shepherd College volleyball team dropped a 30-19, 30-27, 30-27 decision to Converse University at the Mount Olive Tournament.
Junior outside hitter Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) and junior outside hitter Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) each recorded nine kills, while junior outside hitter Amber Balmer (Ephrata/Ephrata, PA) added five kills and 13 digs.
