SHEPHERD FALLS AT CHARLESTON

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 decision to University of Charleston in WVIAC volleyball action on Friday night at Charleston. The Golden Eagles took a 30-17, 30-24, 30-17 decision.

Junior outside hitter Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 14 digs to lead the Rams. Junior defensive specialist/outside hitter Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) added 12 digs, while sophomore setter Kristy Cramer (Fayetteville, PA/Chambersburg Area Senior) had 20 assists.

Shepherd falls to 9-15, 6-5 in WVIAC play, while Charleston improves to 19-6, 13-0. The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to West Virginia Wesleyan for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
