SHEPHERD FALLS TO CONCORD

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. --Shepherd College dropped a 28-30, 28-30, 28-30 decision to Concord College in WVIAC volleyball action at Shepherd on Friday night. The loss snaps Shepherd's six-match winning streak.

The Rams were led by Susanna Hill (Clear Spring, MD/Grace Academy) with 17 kills and 17 digs. Lauren Durbin (Fairplay, MD/Grace Academy) added 13 kills, while Taylor Darnley (Yorktown, VA/Grafton HS) added team-highs of 18 digs and four aces. Nicole Morgan (Maugansville, MD/North Hagerstown HS) recorded 47 assists and 13 digs.

Shepherd falls to 9-6 overall, 6-1 in conference action. The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host West Virginia State for an 11:00 a.m. match.
