SSHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. -- Shepherd College earned a three-game victory over Concord College in WVIAC volleyball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Saturday. The Rams defeated the Mountain Lions, 30-23, 30-22, 30-20.
The Rams were led by Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) with 14 kills and 13 digs and Danielle Munson (Williamsport/Williamsport, MD) with 12 kills and 16 digs. Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) added eight kills and 11 digs, while Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) chipped in with 44 assists and 11 digs.
Shepherd improves to 25-8 overall, 9-2 in conference action.
The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host UDC for a 7:00 p.m. match.
