SHEPHERDSTOWN, W. Va. -- Shepherd College earned a three-game victory over Bowie State University in volleyball action at the Butcher Athletic Center on Wednesday night. The Rams defeated the Bulldogs, 30-14, 30-15, 30-21.
Danielle Munson (Williamsport/Williamsport, MD) had 10 kills and 15 digs to pace the Rams. Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) added nine kills, 11 digs, and five blocks, while Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) recorded nine kills and 13 digs. Shepherd improves to 24-7, while Bowie State falls to 2-16.
The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Shippensburg for a 7:00 p.m. match.
