MOUNT OLIVE, NC -- The Shepherd College volleyball team was swept by Barton College, 30-25, 30-23, 30-16, in volleyball action at the Mount Olive Tournament.
Junior outside hitter Kim Pirisino (John Carroll/Edgewood, MD) led the Rams with 11 kills and 14 digs. Junior outside hitter Judy Whims (Thomas Johnson (FCC)/Frederick, MD) added eight kills and a team-high 20 digs, while freshman setter Nicole Morgan (North Hagerstown/Maugansville, MD) added 29 assists and 10 digs.
