2006: Returning starter at catcher.

2005: Started in 37 games for the Rams. Batted .346 with 44 hits in 127 at-bats. Scored 21 runs and drove in 29 more. Led the team in home runs with five. Also added seven doubles. Drew 10 walks while only striking out seven times. Committed only three errors in 146 chances to post a .979 fielding percentage. Ranked 34th in NCAA II in the Toughest to Strikeout category (18.1).

Prior to Shepherd: A 2002 graduate of Lexington Christian Academy where he played baseball for Keith Galloway. Four-year letterwinner in baseball and basketball. Also lettered in football for two years. Three-year team captain and All-City selection. Transfer from Potomac State, where he was a two-year starter.

Personal: Born 7-16-84. The son of David and Karen Toth. Majoring in physical education.
