(MONTGOMERY, WV) -- Eric Smith completed 15-of-24 passes for 296 yards and three touchdowns to lead WVU-Tech to a 33-14 win over Shepherd College in WVIAC football action at Martin Field.

Senior quarterback Joel Gordon (Waynesboro, VA/Waynesboro) completed 17-of-35 passes for 179 yards and a touchdown. Senior wide receiver Ron Dawkins (Arlington, VA/Washington & Lee) led the Ram receiving corps with five receptions for 67 yards.

Senior linebacker Luke Benchoff (Williamsport, MD/Williamsport) led the Ram defense with seven tackles, including six solo stops.

Shepherd falls to 2-2, 0-1 in WVIAC play, while Tech improves to 2-3, 1-0.
