PRINCETON, WV -- Senior pitcher Karen Burnette (Yorktown, VA/Tabb HS) of the Shepherd University softball team was recently honored by the West Virginia Conference as the WVIAC Softball Co-Pitcher of the Week.
Burnette did not allow an earned run in 15.1 innings pitched, while compiling a 1-1 mark with one save. She tossed a one-hitter in a shutout win over Glenville State.
