PRINCETON, W.Va. -- Freshman forward Jamie Ritchie (Remington, VA/Liberty) of the Shepherd College men's soccer team was named WVIAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week for September 30-October 6.
Ritchie tallied four goals as the Rams went 3-0 last week, including a pair of wins over regionally ranked opponents. He scored a lone goal in last Monday's triumph over Columbia Union before exploding for a hat trick in Thursday's 4-3 win over Shippensburg. His overtime goal was the difference versus Shippensburg. Ritchie leads the Rams with 12 goals.
